| 4th and 5th harmonies. I think 3rd and 5th are the most harmonic notes. Because if you notice Major Chords always have a Tonic, a 3rd, a 5th and then the Tonic Octave. | |

| Well, not exactly. It's more what Beethoven (or Bach) discovered when he was forced to write a song a week. He realized "Hey, no matter what scale I'm using, these intervals sound like crap..." For example, if you play a E/3 and a open A together like a chord, it sounds terrible. That would be a 2nd Chord. BUT if you play a G/3 and a A/2, it sounds much better. Thats a 3rd interval. Of course, the most pleasant sounding interval is a 5th, (which is also a Power Chord). Also, I have finally figured out harmonies, and it's pretty easy. Lets look at a 5th harmony, since those are the easiest. If someone is playing, which is just a simple riff in E Major... - Code:

These are pretty easy to figure out because it's juts broken down Power Chords. Of course, if you want a 3rd harmony you would just use 3rd intervals and the same for each. BUT a very important part is to remember if the interval is Major or Minor. I'll list that again here. I. Major II. Minor III. Minor IV. Major V. Major VI. Minor VII. Diminished (Pretty much stay away from using this in a harmony.) | |
