| They're just added notes in between intervals, almost like a Chromatic scale missing pieces. that's about the best description I can give. | |

| no, blues notes would be missing notes from a chromatic scale, because other wise it would be called a Chromatic scale. Although I guess you could argue that ANY scale is a Chromatic scale missing pieces... | |
