heres the most help I can give.

1. tapping: Hold down a note with left hand (if you are right handed) and then tap the string on any fret with your RIGHT hand.

2 harmonics: lighty hold your finger on either the 5th, 7th, 12th, 17th, or 19th and then pick the string.

3 pinch harmonics: hold the pick with ur finger and thumb so that when you pluck the string ur thumb gentley touches the string. be sure to move your thumb off quickly.

4 sweep picking: when any chord, usually below the 12th fret, is picked out individualy in one slow motion of the picking hand.

so what do u listen to that has tapping and sweep picking? they are both hard rock techniques

oh ya I showed you tapping but I coudlnt play sweep picking till not to long ago and Im still not good at it

but not at the same time! well, some do like seize the day but I didnt notice the acoustic like the first 5 times I listened to it

well if one is playing chords and the other picking...

then you cant hear the acoustic lol. trust me.

okay..one simple question here....why do you wanna hook an acoustic to an amp? that kinda takes away the point of the acoustic dont you think?
